Carl Schuurmans is Associate Director at InProcess-LSP, where he leads the Applied Process Analytical Technologies group.

He previously held research positions at Philips Research, Utrecht University and Harvard University.

His work focuses on pharmaceutical technology and process analytics, with particular emphasis on in-process particle-size measurement using Spatially Resolved Dynamic Light Scattering (SR-DLS).
